She Found Fossils is a picture book about the history and present diversity of women in paleontology. It tells the remarkable stories of women all over the world in paleontological careers.
She Found Fossils is the first product of a long-running collaboration with M. Eugenia Leone Gold. We were inspired to write this book by our own childhood experiences of the lack of visible female or non-binary role models in paleontological careers. It contains biographies of historical and currently-active paleontologists from around the world, beautifully illustrated by Amy J. Gardiner. She Found Fossils is published in English and Spanish, and will soon be available in Mandarin.
